Durgan Ironbolt - Character Concept

Durgan Ironbolt is a concept character created for a stylized hero-shooter universe. Designed as a short, mid-range DPS dwarf, he embodies industrial strength and resilience. His lore roots him in a subterranean mining colony, where he grew up surrounded by plasma explosions, soot, and heavy machinery. Unlike his kin, who followed the mining tradition, Durgan became a protector wielding improvised engineering and brute force against raiders and mercenaries.

The concept was developed using digital illustration techniques, focusing on clean linework, bold shapes, and strong silhouettes to emphasize his stocky, armored frame. Tools such as Photoshop and Blender were used to refine the design, while color variations explore different mood directions for his gear.
